Chicago City Limits was founded in Chicago by George Todisco and actors in the workshop program at The Second City. The improv comedy troupe relocated to New York and established its own theater in in 1980 and began a continuous run now numbering over 10,000 Off Broadway performances. The Chicago City Limits National Touring Company travels throughout the U.S. and the world, and has appeared at Lincoln Center, the Smithsonian Institution, the Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon, and the Super Bowl.
